Measuring water in oil easily and accurately is not a problem anymore!

Measure moisture , measure total water below and above saturation values

MEASURES DISSOLVED , EMULSIFIED OR SATURATED WATER IN OIL.

In 2004 , EESIFLO announced its new generation water in oil sensor. Using a proprietary method of permittivity sensing it is able to directly report water content without using toxic reagents. Before the units are delivered they can be calibrated on the oil expected to be analyzed. The EASZ-1 can measure with an online resolution of 100ppm from 0 to 25% water with a sampling time of 1 second.  This enables the unit to measure water below and above saturation levels. It is not necessary to wait for the probe to reach equilibrium with the process fluid . It responds instantly to any change in state of the fluid. This is very important for anyone attempting to indentify water contamination problems whether at lower or higher levels.

The EASZ-1 is robustly built with stainless steel sensing elements. The sensors fit into a 1 inch process pipe or on a bypass with larger systems and a total volume of sensing area over 20 times that of an insert probe which enables the unit to cover a larger volume of fluid to report more representative water in oil ratios.

Older dielectric type sensors have inherent problems with electronic stability due to the implementation of unreliable analog based circuits which drift over time. The EASZ-1 is immune to drift by the use of integrated circuits and over 8 years of research and development. The EASZ-1 units are fast delivery items, weigh less than 2kg and transmitter and sensor elements are bonded together . The circuits have been built to intrinsic safe standards and EESIFLO expects to have the units fully certified for hazardous areas by February 2006.

Standard units are blind with an analog output to a controller, DCS, PLC or remote display/switch . An optional RS-485 unit is available for those who intend to link multiple units.  Each unit is factory tested and individually calibrated (both sensor and electronics) to work within its published design parameters.
